Bobby L. Hancock

Bobby L. Hancock, 44, of Carmi passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  He was born in Carmi on July 13, 1978 the son of Sonia (Downen) Churchwell and Robert Lee Hancock.  Bobby worked various jobs from pouring concrete to working in the oil field.

    Bobby is survived by his mother, Sonia Churchwell of Crossville; children, Loran, Jordan, Colton, Trinity, Travis, and Ava; two grandchildren; his brother, Casey (Tammy) Coale of Carmi; an aunt Kathy Downen and uncle, Randall Downen; his father, Robert Hancock of Eldorado; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

    A visitation to celebrate the life of Bobby Hancock will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made in Bobby's memory to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, c/o Vibrant Emotional Health, 50 Broadway, Floor 19, New York, NY 10004 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is assisting the family with arrangements.
