Bob Muehlenbein, 77 of Enfield, passed away Thursday January 28, 2016 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born on September 12, 1938 in Dale, the son of Harry and Felcie (Nelson) Muehlenbein. He married Martha Melvin on April 18, 1964 in Springerton and she survives.
Bob worked in the oil field business his entire life, having worked for Henry Absher oil, Les Wilson and Armstrong Tools.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; son and daughter-in-law, Greg & Vickie Muehlenbein of Dale; grandchildren, Kyleen (Rusty) Millenbine, Colleen (Jonathan) Gilland and Cal Muehlenbein; great grandchildren, Koltar, Weston, Joleen, Avie, Elizabeth & Reid; sisters, Bonnie (Kenny) Nelson of McLeansboro and Bernice Allen of Bonita Springs, FL. He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Muehlenbein and Edward Muehlenbein; and sister, Imogene Goldsmith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hammack Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
