Billy J. Allen, 42 of McLeansboro, passed away Sunday morning December 10, 2017 in Grayville. He was born November 19, 1975 in McLeansboro, the son of Stanley and Charlotte (Newman) Stephens.
Billy had worked in the oilfield.
He is survived by his daughter, Bethany Allen of Mt. Vernon, IL; his son, Arion Allen of McLeansboro; 5 brothers, Danny “Boone” Stephens, Gary Wayne Allen, Johnny Stephens, Stanley “Doc” Stephens and Jessie Stephens; step-dad, Stanley Stephens; his friend Windy; sister-in-law, April Stephens; granddaughter, Dayton Brooks; nieces Charlotte, Kaitlin, Janet and Kaitlin; aunts and uncles, Charlie and Minnie Newman, Carroll Newman, Ronnie Newman, Arthur “Bimbo” Newman, Mary Newman, Tom Newman, Gertrude “Lou” Hart, Connie “Ann” Newman, Barbara Fletcher and Maryjane Lyannas and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Kitty Sweetin Cemetery. Visitation is from Noon until services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
