Betty VanderTuuk

Betty N. VanderTuuk, 74, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday morning, July 7, 2015 at Deaconess VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville. She was born on April 9, 1941 in Graham, KY, the daughter of William Bradford and Nettie (Harris) Martin. She married Donald VanderTuuk on July 15, 1967 in Munster, IN and he survives.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene (Timothy) Ghrist and Lisa (Scott) Kempf, all of Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren, Todd & Megan Ghrist and Brandon & Mallory Kempf; and a niece, Debbie (Richard) Moeller of Graham, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers & sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on July 9, 2015 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Memorials may b e made to the American Diabetes Association. On-line condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
