Betty L. (Morrow) Englebright, 83, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. Betty was born May 10, 1931 to parents, Alonzo and Opal Hardin.

She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Vernon.

Betty devoted her life to caring for others. She was the loving mother to five children and grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Betty was always there to help in any situation. She was tireless in her devotion to her family, community, and church. For many years, she taught Sunday school and was a deacon at her church.

She was an auxiliary member at the American Legion, Eagles and Moose. She was also an avid reader and supporter of the Alexandrian Public Library.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers, sisters and the father of her five children, Robert Morrow.

Surviving Betty are her husband, Tom Englebright; her children, Karyn (Rick) Fischer; Bobby J. Morrow; Mike L. (Barb) Morrow; Dave W. (Kim) Morrow; and Keith (Gail) Morrow; ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; stepson, Rick Englebright; brothers, Frank and Dalton Hardin; sister, Mary Cox.

Services are to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon with Rev. Monica Gould officiating. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 120 E. 6th Street, Mt. Vernon.
