Betty Anselment

Betty Jean Anselment, 88, of Carmi passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Flower Mound, TX. She was born September 2, 1928 in Carmi the daughter of Clyde Preston and Clotilda (Matz) Stone.  Betty married Randall L. Anselment on June 23, 1950 and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1994. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carmi.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Amber (David) Owens of Plainfield, IN, Cathy O'Neal of Flower Mound, TX and Diane (Phil) Duncan of Denton, TX; sister, Barbara McMahon of Longview TX; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five siblings.

Funeral services for Betty Anselment, 88, of Carmi will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Big Prairie Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to a charity of your choice or the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
