Bertis Lee "Buck" Roark

   Bertis Lee "Buck" Roark, 79, of Carmi, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.  He was born on March 7, 1943, the son of Herbert Lee and Sarah Alice (Bean) Roark.  Buck graduated from Ridgway High School and later worked as a truck driver for K.D. Wilson.  He was a member of the White County Coon Club and loved spending time with his special dog, Dot.

   Buck is survived by his siblings, Judy Morris of Carmi, IL, Pat (Darrell) Clodfelter of Grayville, IL, and Faye (Wayne) Wilson of New Haven, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parent and a brother, Dale Roark.

   Graveside funeral services for Bertis Lee "Buck" Roark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 14, 2022, at Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the White County Coon Club and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
