Bertha Ricketts

Bertha L. (Bauman) Ricketts, 55, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at her home in Mt. Vernon. Bertha was born January 24, 1951 in Mt. Vernon, IN, daughter of Lloyd and Frances Helen (Whoberry) Bauman. Bertha graduated from MVHS with the class of 1969 and was a Customer Service Representative with the License Branch in Mt. Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Steve of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Nicole Duffey of Mt. Vernon; her son, Troy Ricketts of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Jack E. Bauman of Mt.Vernon; and 3 sisters, Judy King, Patricia Finch and Jill Bauman all of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Nathan, Haley, and Taylor Duffey and Chase and Noah Milner.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with burial in the Bellefontaine Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Special condolences can be made online at www.austinfuneralhome.com.
