Bernice Dolan

Bernice M. Dolan, 90 of Mt. Vernon, IL and formerly of Enfield, died Friday evening February 21, 2014 at Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born on September 13, 1923 in Hamilton County, the daughter of Rudolph and Emma (Kiefer) Rubenacker. She married Lawrence A. Dolan on June 2, 1943 and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1997.
Mrs. Dolan was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Enfield and also belonged to the Alter Society.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Dolan of Enfield and John & Gerry Dolan of Chesterfield, MO; a daughter and son-in-law, Madonna & Scott Imel of Paris, IL; two grandchildren, Ryan Imel and Ashley Dolan; and two sisters, Alice Kreher and Virginia Rubenacker, both of Mt. Vernon, IL. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Rubenacker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, February, 25, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Enfield with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield, with Rosary beginning at 4.
