Barry Pearce, 60, of Norris City, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 1, 1961 in Buchanan, MI the son of Tracy Arnold and Josephine Wilma (Markus) Pearce. Barry worked for 20 years as a heavy equipment operator at McCarty Landfill before going to work at Trelleborg Molded Rubber in Carmi and retired after 19 years. He had attended Tennessee Bend Baptist Church in Herald. Barry loved attending car shows, races and working on muscle cars, along with building different items
Surviving are three sisters, Darlene (Dale) Wolshlager of Bridgman, MI, Patti Wolshlager of Norris City, and Peggy White of Benton Harbor, MI; seven brothers, Gene (Linda) Pearce of Central Point, OR, Danny (Debbie) Pearce of Norris City, Thomas of Michigan, Arthur (Frances) Pearce of Sawyer, MI, Michael (Lavina) Pearce of Norris City, Alan (Jackie) Pearce of Evansville, IN, and Steve (Carolyn) Pearce of Carmi; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Pearce and a sister, Sally Pearce.
Funeral services for Barry Pearce, 60, of Norris City will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Herald Cemetery in Herald. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barry's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expense.
