Barbara Stuart

Barbara J. Stuart, age 65 of Springerton, died Sunday morning December 15, 2013 at her home. She was born July 1, 1948 at Newburgh, IN, the daughter of Jewell Miller and Evelyen E (Smith).
She had worked as a CNA for many years at Rest Haven Manor in Albion and attended the United Pentecostal Church in Fairfield.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Judith (Kurt Pierce) Earl of Springerton; 3 sons, James (Bonnie) Earl, Jr., Cassey (Tanya) Earl all of Fairfield and Willard Ray “Billy” (Patty) Earl of Carmi; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Merle “Bill” Thomas of Fairfield; and a sister, Kathy Auxier of Carmi. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James L. Stuart; 1 brother, John Thomas and 2 sisters, Judith Thomas and Glenda Sue Miller.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday December 18, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield. A private burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
