Barbara Fiala, 72, of Carmi passed away at 4:11 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born October 6, 1943 in Concord, IL the daughter of Fred and Maxine (Douthitt) Watson. Barbara married Peter Fiala on November 15, 1963. She was a beautician and owned and operated Arcade Hair Fashions from 1972 until 2012.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 52 years, Pete; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kendra Fiala of Enfield; and two grandchildren, Zeppelyn and Zane Fiala. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen A. Fiala on December 8, 1991.
Funeral Services for Barbara Fiala, 72, of Carmi will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery near Carmi. Visitation will be on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
