Barbara Egbert

Barbara Lynn Egbert, 69 of Carmi, passed away Friday afternoon December 8, 2017 at her home. She was born November 11, 1948 in Gibson County, IN the daughter of Raymond and Beulah (Perkins) Gill. She married Robert “Bob” Egbert, Sr. and he preceded her in death.
Barbara had worked at Hucks for several years. She worked as an aid in local nursing homes. She enjoyed sewing and was an Avon Representive for nearly 40 years.
She is survived by her sons, Russell Woods, Robert “Bob” Egbert, Jr. and Steve Finchem; daughters, Becky Becker, Cindy Rymer and Bonnie West; nine granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Gill and a sister, Marilyn Gill.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday December 14, 2017 at Stokes Chapel Cemetery near Crossville. No visitation will be held. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
