B. Louise Robertson, 80, of Carmi, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 10:47 p.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born May 26, 1932 in Barton, Arkansas, the daughter of Wilburn and Mary (Rodden) Foley. Louise married Ray "Buck" Robertson, Jr. on December 19, 1954. She was an active member of North Carmi General Baptist Church (Mick Chapel) until its closing and presently a member of Plainview General Baptist Church of Norris City. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker who loved animals and gardening. She enjoyed everything about country life from raising animals to building fences. Above everything, Louise took the greatest joy from her family and the time gathered around her table.

Louise is survived by her husband of 58 years, Buck of Carmi; a daughter and son-in-law, Tim and Sherry Gholson of Carmi; a son, Steven Robertson and his partner, Jim Tharp of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Eric and Krystal Gholson of Carmi and Jody and Erin (Gholson) Morrison of Enfield; two great-grandchildren, Reece and Hallie Gholson of Carmi; her mother Mary Foley of Enfield; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lawrence and Mildred Medlin and Don and Shirley Smith all of Enfield; and Bruce and Susan Pearson of Springfield,IL; numerous nieces and nephews who enjoyed summers at Aunt Louise's; and special family friends, Mike and Heather Billotte and family of New York and James Scharleman and family of Harrisburg.

Louise was preceded in death by her father, Wilburn; sister, Linda Harms; infant niece, Chrissy Harms; and brother, Billy Foley.

Funeral services for Louise Robertson, 80, of Carmi, will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Tim Gholson officiating. Burial will be in Kitty Sweetin Cemetery near Springerton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wabash Christian Retirement Center and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
