Aubrey Wheeler

Aubrey Dean "Beanie" Wheeler, 53, of Carmi passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Carmi, IL on April 16, 1963 the son of Aubrey and Barbara Ann (Pollard) Wheeler. Beanie was a 1981 graduate of Carmi Community High School. He was the General Manager for Slay's Carpet and Restoration. Beanie was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

Beanie is survived by three loving daughters, Taylor Barr and husband Jason of Harrisburg and Madison Wheeler and Lexi Wheeler both of Carmi; a sister, Gayla Nelson and husband David of Carmi; a brother, Jerry Wheeler and wife Becky of Norris City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Wheeler and Barbara Ann Norris; and two brothers, Ed Smith and Scott Wheeler.

Funeral Services for Aubrey Dean "Beanie" Wheeler, 53 of Carmi will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Kuykendall Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Beanie's memory to establish a College Education Fund for Lexi and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
