Ashley Ann Roberts

     Ashley Ann Roberts, 41, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.  She was born on February 10, 1981, the daughter of Daniel Edward and Julia Ann (Williams) Mitchell. Ashley was a Special Education teacher, and enjoyed serving children with special needs.  She loved singing was excellent at it. However, her biggest love was spending time with her children.

     Ashley is survived by her children, Keeley Elizabeth Roberts and Kye Mitchell Roberts both of Newburgh, IN; parents, Daniel and Julia Mitchell of Wadesville, IN; husband, Leslie Phil Roberts; siblings, Lindsey (Chris) Alvey, of Newburgh, IN, Matthew (Jessica) Mitchell of Evansville, IN, and Alex Mitchell of Wadesville, IN; grandparents, Stan Williams of Carmi, IL, and Shirley Williams of Carmi, IL; great-grandmother, Jewel Stocke of Carmi, IL; nieces and nephew, Leo Mitchell, Olive Mitchell, and Millie Mitchell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Virginia Mitchell.

    A service celebrating the life of Ashley Roberts will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery near Enfield, Illinois.  Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ashley's memory to the American Diabetes Association, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
