Arthur Welch

Arthur "Artie" Welch, 74, of Enfield passed away at 7:35 a.m., Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born in Carmi on September 3, 1941 the son of Donald E. and Mary V. (Shepard) Welch. Artie was a farm broker and operated a fruit and vegetable stand. He was a member of the Carmi Elks Lodge.

Artie is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Paula and Jim Webb of Elizabethtown and Pam Welch of Carmi; two grandchildren, Ashley Siedler and husband Nathan and Caleb Mitchell; a great-granddaughter, Adlee Siedler; and a brother, Donald R. Welch of McLeansboro. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Brown; a sister, Rita Pfister; and two brothers, Ronald "Bud" Welch and Charles M. "Chod" Welch.

Graveside funeral and burial services for Arthur "Artie" Welch, 74, of Enfield, will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at White County Memorial Garden near Carmi. Friends may call on Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
