Arlene Reid, 67, of Norris City passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born in White County, IL on July 22, 1948 the daughter of Ethel Foley. Arlene retired from Fairfield Community Care where she worked in administration. She had also worked as part of Hamilton Memorial Hospital Home Health. Arlene was a member of the Springerton American Legion and McLeansboro Eagles.
Surviving are her companion of over 26 years, Ralph Ripperden; an uncle, Roy Foley; cousin, Royla (Mike) Howe and her daughter, Amanda (Lucas) Owen and granddaughter, Savannah; Ralph's family, Darin (Aimee) Ripperden, Deanna Ripperden, Marie Ripperden, Sue McCarty, Jane Brazier and Avery and Braden Hempin; along with many special friends.
Funeral services for Arlene Reid, 67, of Norris City will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Little Zion Cemetery near Enfield. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Friday, May 6, 2016. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
