Ann Talley

Ann Talley, 89, of Norris City passed away at 12:00 p.m., June 24, 2016 at Carmi Manor. She was born on February 17, 1927 in Eldorado, IL the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Szmere) Bartok. Ann was married to Eddie P. Talley he preceded her in death on September 14, 1994. She was a farm wife. She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan.
Ann is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Stanley Douglas of Harrisburg; three grandchildren, Randy and Amber Graves of Norris City, Michelle and Eric Clowdus of Farmington, MO and Will and Jamie Douglas of Carrier Mills; six great grandchildren, Cianna and Evan Clowdus, Alivia Zenner Graves, and Malayna and McKendra Douglas; a brother, Gene Bartok of Eldorado; a brother-in-law, Louis Talley of Norris City; two sister-in-laws; Patsy and James Edwards of Norris City, and Ruth Zemet of Mt. Vernon, IL; also several nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by five brothers, Eddie, Arvol, Joseph, William, and Ernest Bartok; and three sisters Anna Bartok, Elizabeth Talley, and Julia Nole.
Funeral Services for Ann Talley, 89, of Norris City will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be on Monday June 27, 2016 from 5;00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home.
