Alice Frashier

Alice L. Frashier, 78, of Carmi passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 3:30 a.m. at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born September 30, 1934 in Heralds Prairie Township, the daughter of Ephraim and Minnie (Wolfe) Wilson. Alice married Frederick "Speedy" Frashier, Jr. on March 7, 1953 and he preceded her in death on February 17, 2009. She had worked as the Office Manager for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and attended Cherry St. General Baptist Church.

Alice is survived by a daughter, Carla Coopwood of Manassas, VA; a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Libby Frashier of Leavenworth, KS; five grandchildren, Nikole, Jared, Kennedy, Kyle and Kameron; two great-grandchildren, Garrett and Jesse; a sister-in-law, Lucille Wilson and a brother-in-law, Charles Bingman.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Lou Bingman and a brother, Johnnie M. Wilson.

Funeral Service for Alice L. Frashier, 78, of Carmi will be Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with the Rev. Harold Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery near Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial Contributionscan be made in Alice's memory to Wabash Christian Retirement Center and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
