Alan Brand

Alan "Big Al" Brand, 60, of Carmi, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Enfield Rehab and Nursing in Enfield.  Alan was born September 16, 1957, the son of George Edward and Beulah Murl (Sanders) Brand.  He was married to Maria Williams and she preceeded him in death.  Alan worked in the oil field industry for Mitchell Drilling.

Alan is survived by Linda Evans of Norris City; two daughters, Monica Brand  and Melissa Brand-Welch, both of Carmi; two brothers, Kevin Lee Brand and Thomas Wayne Frymire; and three sisters, Vonda Lou Sturgal, Marilyn Laverne Maughan, and Brenda Kaye Berry.

Alan was preceeded in death by his parents; wife Maria; two brothers, John Morris Frymire and Loren Murrell Frymire; and three sisters, Loretta Fern Frymire, Daisy Marie Wilson, and Connie Lee Frymire.

Per Alan's wishes, he was cremated.  A Celebration of Life with burial will be held at a later date.  Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
