Aileen Crayne, 84, of Norris City passed away at 10:15 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 10, 1930 in Ridgway, IL the daughter of Jesse and Leatha Aretta (Peas) Sauls. Aileen married Carl J. Crayne on August 31, 1947. They moved to Gary, IN and started their family. Aileen went to work for KMart and worked as a bookkeeper. After moving back to Norris City, she worked as a receptionist for Dr. Deletour, did bookkeeping and helped at Crouch Accounting. Aileen was a member of Oasis Church of the Nazarene in Harrisburg, IL and The Friendship Club.

Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Carl J. of Norris City; two daughters and a son-in-law, Glenda Christine and Donald Sutherland of Evans, GA and Carol Lynn Roy of New Haven; two sisters, Genievie York and Gail Henderson both of Omaha; four brothers, Dean Sauls and Truman Sauls both of Eldorado, Ricky Lee Sauls of Norris City and Mike Sauls of Fairfield; four grandchildren, Shawn Sutherland, Erin Voshell, Christopher deVidal and Angela Canton and six great-grandchildren. Aileen was preceded in death by two sisters, Deanna Hunt and Ramona Sauls and two brothers, Jesse "Bud" Sauls and Robert Wayne "Bob" Sauls.

Funeral Services for Aileen Crayne, 84, of Norris City will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Palestine #2 Cemetery in Omaha. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Aileen's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
