Patricia Newman

Patricia A. Newman 80 of Enfield, passed away Tuesday morning January 10, 2017 at her home. She was born August 20, 1936, the daughter of William “Bud” and Macel (Wilson) Hoover. She married James Newman on March 5, 1955.
Pat had worked at the sewing factory and had driven a school bus. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and painting. She was a member of the Enfield General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; sons, James Robert (Eve Johnson), Donald Ray (Kathy) and David Allen (Mona) Newman; daughters, Karen Elaine (Danny) Bowles and Patricia Louise Dozier; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Bud (Joyce) Hoover. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Terry Thomas, Jan Kelly and Norma Jean Levert.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday January 12, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Dan Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery.
